The interior of the Bali Hai Dream House has dramatic ocean and mountain views, bringing the exquisite tropical location inside.
The house itself is both elegant and warmly welcoming, with a spacious, light-filled ambience...thanks to timberframe construction and open-beam ceilings.
Furnished with comfortable couches, pine pieces, tropical rattan and a few Hawaiiana antiques, the Dream House quickly feels like a second home. There’s cozy seating around the large fireplace. An oversized pine trestle table is another favorite gathering place for dining, crossword puzzles or games.

Favorite Vacation Spot
- This gorgeous property is a favorite vacation spot for well-known actors, musicians, athletes, artists, doctors and entrepreneurs. We have many repeat visitors who feel that our house is their second home.
A Signature Peak
- Rising from the Pacific, Kauai's signature peak (called Bali Hai ever since 'South Pacific' was shot here) is simply breathtaking. Rainbows often seem to rise from the ocean.
The House
- The beach house is a stunning yet cozy timber frame on a wide lawn with incredible views. The interior features antiques and pine furnishings, beamed ceilings and warm colors - predominantly soft reds and blues.
The Bedrooms
- Three bedrooms have king beds. The front bedroom has breathtaking ocean and mountain views. Two bedrooms have en suite bathrooms; the third has beautiful Tommy Bahama furnishings and a connecting bathroom. The beach level bedroom has a perfect ocean view and a queen bed with a connecting bathroom (shower, no tub).
The Kitchen
- Counters and a center island are topped with rare 'Bahia Blue' granite. There's a blue Viking range with a griddle, and a Sub-Zero refrigerator.
Tenants
- We prefer no more than six tenants at a time, but will consider 7-8 depending on children's ages.
